Ordering, deploying and utilizing c|smart within your organization is simple.

1 You can purchase new power cables from PCC with a c|smart license and have contact memory buttons attached to cables by PCC at time of fabrication.

Purchasing power cables from PCC you can elect to have contact memory buttons attached to each cable. The information that will reside on each contact memory tag will be generated directly from your order (a spreadsheet provided by PCC). This will insure accuracy and eliminate manual data entry errors.

2 You can Purchase a c|smart license to manage existing cables and have contact memory installed on-site!

On-site Installation

PCC will fit your power cables with pre-populated contact memory buttons (based on information you will provide PCC) while on site, in your facility. Using the cumulative power cable information (gathered from cable CMBs), PCC will also populate each PDU or RPP (panel) button with the appropriate power cable and asset data.

Initial Assessment (in person or via telephone) - Review environment and installation needs prior to development of system installation plan
Installation Planning (via telephone) - Plan and confirm schedule, resources, hardware setup requirements, delivery and installation dates with customer
- Create installation related documentation
Statement of Installation - Verify completion of pre-installation tasks
- Verify supported configuration
Installation of c|smart and contact memory buttons - Review packing list to ensure that all components are present
- Install c|smart software
- Attach CMSs and run manual tests to verify data
Installation Verification - Load c|smart with cable data and print Panel Schedule
System Turnover - Installation review and User Manual distributions
- customer sign off

Installation can take place during the course of the business week, weekends and/or evenings.
